2018 was a great year for Badlands, their driven style of country music going down well at festivals, clubs and country music events all over the UK. In October they were nominated in both Band of the Year and Newcomer categories at the CNN NAM awards, winning the Newcomer award, at the start of their second full year on the circuit. A change of personnel in the “bass department” saw founding member Pete Morgan retiring from the road, and the band welcomed Tris Bradder into the fold, his style of bass playing adding a new dimension to the band's sound. With an ever busier diary, the band continue to go from strength to strength, and are very much looking forward to entertaining you all at this year's Towerfest, and around the UK as the warmer weather and festival season approaches. Badlands are: Russ Kitchin – Lead guitar and vocal. Tris Bradder – Bass. Ash Thompson – Drums. Phil Holden – Guitar and vocals.
