JONNY WILLIAMS has been a country music artist since the late 1980s - firstly as a member of the rockabilly band The Mercury's and then as a solo artist. His music is steeped in the roots of traditional country music. Jonny performs well over 200 shows a year and readers of Cross Country Magazine voted him Solo Artist of the Year for two years running in 2005 and 2006. In 2008, Jonny released his ninth album Sing Me Back Home which he recorded and produced himself. September 2009 saw the release of Jonny's tenth album Heartbreak And Happiness. The album included three original tracks based on Jonny's experiences as he went through a particularly traumatic time in his personal life. 2010 saw Jonny team up with Lynnette Marie as a duo. They had been together as a couple since mid 2009 and the duo just happened after they performed a few songs together at each other's shows. The audience response was fantastic, so, as well as continuing with their busy solo careers, Jonny and Lynnette will be performing plenty of shows together as a duo in the future. In August 2010, Jonny & Lynnete finally managed to take time out to record an album. "Together" is a result of the duets they perform onstage, featuring some classic duet numbers from the greats of country music. For those that have already seen Jonny & Lynnette in action, you will already know how superbly their voices blend together, with some wonderful harmonies as well as some classic duet numbers. So, look out for the two of them at a few venues around the country in the coming months. As Jonny & Lynnette's musical career developed, they also developed a personal relationship and are now married. They have released a series of albums over the years called "On The Road Again". Volume 6 was released towards the end of 2019.
